The breathtaking 70 hectare wine estate in Simondium has been family-owned and managed since 1996, respecting its noble roots and continuing to build on over 335 years of heritage. In 2005, Vrede en Lust purchased the 90 hectare farm, Casey’s Ridge in Elgin. Situated next to a large body of water within the Kogelberg Biosphere, it is considered the most flora diverse UNESCO biosphere in the world. The Napoleonsberg Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine that embodies the passion and dedication of the team at Vrede en Lust. Each bottle is individually numbered and is encased in a luxury gift box that is ideally suited to be customised by each customer for their own use.
