Fossacolle is four hectares of vineyards in the medieval town of Tavernelle in southern Montalcino. This area benefits from the wind of nearby Maremma. The 2019 vintage presents an intense ruby color, with aromas of sour red cherries, fennel, and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it offers a wonderful complexity with a core of fruit and spicy notes. The tannins are silky and persistent, contributing to the wine's outstanding balance, elegance, and complexity.
