Product Info
Before establishing itself in Meursault , near Beaune in Burgundy (21, Côte d'Or), the Boigelot estate had its roots a little higher up the hill, in the village of Monthelie , where Éric Boigelot 's great-grandfather had created, in 1918, a wine estate extending over 2 hectares. A few decades later, his grandson, Jacques Boigelot , took over the operation, expanding his ancestor's estate to 7 hectares covering the Meursault, Monthelie, Volnay , and Pommard appellations . He passed on to his son, Éric, all his know-how concerning the cultivation of vines and the production of wines. Boigelot Meursault 'Les Caillerets' is characterized by an expressive nose of stone fruits such as peach, complemented by subtle hints of eucalyptus and licorice. On the palate, the wine offers fullness and sapidity, with a harmonious balance of fruit and minerality.Brand:
