Château Palmer is a winery in the Margaux appellation d'origine contrôlée of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of fourteen Troisièmes Crus (Third Growths) in the historic Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855. The property is situated in the communes Margaux and Cantenac, and its wine is considered to be one of the two most popular Third Growths.Its is characterized by its deep garnet-purple color. The nose offers aromas of blackberry preserves, crème de cassis, and blueberry pie, complemented by hints of red roses, clove oil, dark chocolate, and cedar chest. On the palate, it is full-bodied with layers of black fruit preserves and exotic spices, framed by plush tannins and seamless freshness. The finish is fragrant and long-lasting.
